Electronic Inspection
Over the last decade, Fastco has made a significant
investment in various types of electronic inspection
machines. Since many of our customer’s equipment and
processes are intolerant of even the slightest variations,
Fastco’s use of electronic inspection before packaging its
products ensures that customers are protected from such
problems as no threads, foreign material, or other
dimensional defects. Using eddy current technology on a
number of its electronic inspection unit, Fastco is able to
identify and eliminate extreme variations in
hardness—variations that often cause major disruptions in
the customer’s processes. Fastco’s fleet of electronic
inspection machines includes units designed by Retina,
Mectron, and General Inspection.
